Office Administrator
Candi enjoys working at Aspire Dental because of the amazing patients and great crew she gets to spend her day with. Everyone is enjoyable to Candi and she always looks forward to catching up with patients at their visits. Next time you’re in, tell her your sun sign and she can tell you all about yourself. Or better yet, ask her to juggle. Kids love it!
Candi is originally from Tri-Cities, Washington. After visiting OMSI, the Oregon coast and other places near Portland as a youngster, she knew that once she was old enough, she would make Portland her home. Now having lived here for 22+ years, she considers the move to be one of the best decisions she’s ever made.
While in Portland Candi attended attended Warner-Pacific College and Portland Community College. Once an avid crafter and year-round bicyclist, Candi now spends her time catering to her sassy 4-year-old daughter and going to music festivals and concerts whenever she can. When she has the time, Candi enjoys eating at Mazi Sushi, Rudy's, Pad Thai Kitchen, Next Level Burger and Bye and Bye.
Julia, RDH
Dental Hygienist
At Aspire Dental, Julia enjoys the people she works with, her patients, and the flexibility she has now being a mom. She treasures the professional, but fun atmosphere. Next time you see her, ask her a music question. She’s heard of practically everyone.
Like many other Midwesterners, Julia has found her way to Portland. She grew up in Chillicothe, Illinois and moved around to different parts of Illinois for school. After earning her hygiene degree and working for a few years, she made the leap to Portland.
When she’s not working, Julia can be found doing any sort of outdoor activity, when she finds a free minute. With two kids, her family's life has gotten a little more chaotic these days! Her favorite Portland restaurant is Bamboo Sushi and can't wait to introduce her kids to sushi.
Brittany, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Brittany enjoys working at Aspire Dental because of the great team and she loves being able to help her patients with all things dental hygiene.
Brittany was born and raised in Portland. She attended La Salle High School and graduated hygiene school at Pacific University.
When not at work, Brittany enjoys hiking the outdoors. She also loves reading and spending time with her friends and family. She also has a special knack for origami paper folding. Brittany's favorite restaurant picks are Thai Peacock and Al-Amir.
Silvia, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Silvia enjoys working at Aspire Dental because she gets to be a part of a group of people that care about helping patients improve their oral health, while providing quality care.
Silvia was born in Los Angeles, California, and was raised both in LA and in Madras, Oregon. She went to school at Central Oregon Community College and received her dental hygiene degree at Pacific University.
When she’s not working, Silvia can be found spending time with her family, hiking, painting, doing makeup and exploring/traveling. She also enjoys going to concerts, cooking, reading, and going to live sports events! Her unusual and unique talent is being able to play the accordion. Silvia's favorite local restaurants include; Juan Colorado, Dos Alas, Hardy's, Portland City Grill and Screen Door.
Vicky, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Vicky enjoys working at Aspire Dental because of her coworkers and patients. With such a great crew and a following of great patients, she looks forward to seeing them every week! And if you speak Spanish, she loves talking to you in Spanish at your cleanings.
Vicky was born and raised in Cali, Colombia. She graduated hygiene school at Mount Hood Community College.
On the weekends, Vicky likes to relax with her family. You can find her going to bars, new restaurants, the movies, or making some crafts. Her favorite restaurants are Margarita Factory, Petite Provence, and Bochelli’s!
Jamie, EFDA
Dental Assistant
Jamie enjoys working at Aspire Dental because of all the people she works with! She says it’s a great team of people which creates a low stress environment for a working mom such as herself.
Jamie was born and raised in Kennewick, Washington. She went on to get her dental assisting degree in Seattle. .
When she’s not working, Jamie can be found playing with her kids, sleeping in, and exploring! She also likes hiking, paddle boarding, reading, dogs and anything true crime related. Jamie's favorite restaurants in Portland are Scotch Lodge, Oma’s Hideaway, and Nostrana.
Leanna, EFDA
Dental Assistant
Leanna enjoys working at Aspire Dental because of the wonderful staff and patients. Everyone is so nice.
Leanna was born in Thailand and grew up in Southern California, going to high school with Snoop Dogg. She attended college at Inland Empire- Mojave Desert. She moved to Oregon more than 20 years ago because she loved the great outdoors and the beautiful green state when she visited as a kid.
A self-proclaimed “crazy plant lady”, Leanna loves to shop at the Portland Nursery and enjoys gardening and cooking on her weekends! She can also be found spending time with her son and dog, Max. Leanna's favorite Portland eats include: Thai Peacock, E-San Thai and Pastini Pastaria.
Lesly, EFDA
Dental Assistant
Lesly enjoys working at Aspire Dental because everyone is a pleasure to work with. The entire team's willing to help eachother out, to better themselves and the patient experience as a whole.
Lesly was born and raised in Vancouver, Washington. She went to Clark College and the Pacific Northwest Dental Assisting School.
family and husband, doing activities with her church, and relaxing at home. If it’s a sunny day, she enjoys a nice walk or bike ride outside. When the weather's not so nice, she can be found staying dry at her favorite restaurants, Chic-Fil-A, Kenji's Ramen, Jersey Mike's and Jamba Juice.
Sam
Patient Care Coordinator
Sam enjoys working at Aspire Dental because he gets to work in a fun environment where it feels less like work and more like you’re just making patients have a good experience every visit!
Sam is a native Portlander. He attended Franklin High School and then went on to Mount Hood Community College and Portland State University.
When he’s not at work, Sam can be found doing active things: walking, going to the park or the gym, hiking, and going to farmers’ markets. He also likes to play board games and do puzzles with his family, and hangout with his two dogs, Gotham and Gidget. Sam's favorite eats are at Thunderbird, Mio Sushi, Rudy's, Mis Tacones, Ice Queen, Fifty-Licks and Bete-Lukas.
Kyra
Patient Care Coordinator
Kyra enjoys working at Aspire Dental because really loves everyone she works with. She likes being able to help patients and help people reach their goals, all while getting to learn new things.
Kyra was born and raised in San Diego, California. She moved to Portland two years ago to be closer to her sister, whom she loves spending time with. Kyra has since found she definitely prefers the weather in Portland than the heat in San Diego!
Outside of work, Kyra can be found reading, listening to music, and tending to her plants and 9-year-old cat, Theodore. She also loves playing video games and seeing her friends! In addition to all these activities, she's managed to accumulate a ton of knowledge about Harry Potter and Star Wars. Try to stump her next time you visit. Kyra has been enjoying the Portland food scene, as she searches out her favorite Thai, Japanese and Indian restaurants. If you have a recommendation, let her know!
Alexa
Patient Care Coordinator
Alexa enjoys working at Aspire Dental because they love the people who work here and the environment. The energy at Aspire Dental is a positive one!
Alexa was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They attended St. Bonaventure University and then moved to Portland just last year.
On their weekends, Alexa can be found hiking, trying out new wine bars, and practicing some witchcraft! Their favorite restaurant is Cafe Nell, but they love Mexican, Thai and Indian cuisine, and sushi as well.
Shawna
Patient Care Coordinator
Shawna enjoys working at Aspire Dental because she says everyone is very kind and she loves the opportunity to learn.
Shawna was born in Fresno, California, but has moved around quite a bit. She says Oregon feels the most like home to her. She attended college in Albany, OR, and Redmond, WA.
On the weekends, Shawna can be found going to farmers’ markets with her son, going on long walks with the family, and spending time with her friends. She also loves arts and crafts, reading, and collecting rocks and crystals. Her special talent? Deep cleaning- being a mom, she's really good at it. Shawna's favorite eats are at The Meddling Lime and all the local food trucks.
