MISSION OF MERCY
Mission of Mercy is the Oregon Dental Association's outreach program for those without dental care. During this two-day clinic, at the Oregon Convention Center in downtown Portland, Dr. Lisa Kakishita participated in helping to provide over $1.2 million worth of treatment to 2,023 people.
Dental screenings and services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis, at no charge to those who attend. MOM combines the donated services of hundreds of dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, dental lab technicians and an array of non-healthcare volunteers from the community to provide these free dental services.
